It is pretty good indeed, but it is rushed and it's evident. As music choice and use of TV-show reels goes, it's really nice, but there's not enough narrative or gameplay specific to the Exiled clan.
This merely means we're gunna have to take more time making this video and this is a great start and I like it for the most part, but it just needs improvements.

Yeah totally agree with ya, just got hot up in the moment I just had to give it a try haha but yeah time and effort should be put into it, and better programming aswell maybe.

What you have here is a good foundation for what the clan can develop this video into. From here, it can be developed further with music, better narrative, transitions, graphics, gameplay, etc. You're good, but it can and will be better with your help, as well as the rest of the clan. Because it's a clan video, it's going to need as much input from the rest of the members as possible and it also makes everyone feel they're doing their part to make things better.
Don't forget, we're all friends and a budding family, communication is key and having fun is the main goal :3.
We shall continue to work on this, trust me.

Of course, I watched some fan made movie trailers where they put video clips together from movies and games and I just got an idea and that with me, when I get an idea, I dont stop until its possible and it worked out okay besides rushing, lack of effort, orginallity etc. With me, I don't speak out my ideas, I show them but this is a baseline for us and I agree with you totally this is a clan video so I would be brilliant if the clan itself gets involved. |

You could always ask people in the clan to be your voiceover man and send them a txt document of what you want them to say. Then they could send you a recording and you can pick the best one to stick it on your trailer. Maybe even make it into a competition to get more people interested.

That's not a bad idea, but obviously we need to start on what the clan video be based on. a trailer? recruitment video? A short story video? If we get that sorted then we'll know where we can develop, write script and film(if possible). So feel free flood me and seth with ideas |

Just a thought That would help massively in terms of our clan activity, good of you to suggest that. @ Facer, In terms of the angle to approach, I think a story-based video will work the best. It makes us more interesting to have clan members speak out some scripted lines in a storyboard narration over the top of video and gameplay footage. We have a few writers in the clan that could write a story for us and we can base a script around that. Or, we can put this to a vote on the forums. |
