This is one of the biggest launch disappointments I've ever seen, Angry Joe describes the launch of this new console in an amusing video instead of a rant of text!

The worst reveal ever! More disappointing than the mass effect 3 ending. Microsoft has completely f***ed up... They're seriously trying to turn Xbox into a pc functionality... One thing that makes me more angrier is the initial installation, fee charged for second account! Means If i wanna borrow a game off my mates, i have to pay a installition fee! What a load of s**t! I hate the look of it, it looks like massive black coaster and the kinect looks like an ugly brick. Not happy, I don't think they'll recover at E3 after this reveal..

Also you have to connect to the Internet every 24 hours according to this article. Why should I have to connect to the Internet to play a game that doesn't require an internet connection? Just totally unnecessary from Microsoft. Click here to see the article.

Yes..as many have said around the internet its like they've taken the focus away from games, there turning the xbox into this multimedia deal and I dont see the point..if i want to watch tv then honestly, id actaully rather watch it on my main tv screen not my xbox, and I dont know about you guys but if i want to use the internet yeah..im going to use my pc not my xbox..even if its an option..isnt that the whole point of consoles..we want them to play games and play them well..the public doesnt want xbox to be about tv and controling it with your mobile phone
Agreeing with facer..it looks horrible..the chequered thing its got going on looks ugly..i guess the controller looks okay, nice colour..kinect i never used and dont really care about much so -shrugs-. The whole fee for used games things is terrible too..are we now forced to pay full price for games we might just want to borrow or check out to see if we like it, i know they have downloadable demo's but its not the same to me.
anyway i guess thats my opinion on it so far, i was hoping for more in terms of games and how they look/feel so im hoping the whole E3 thing redeems that for me, hopefully theres a new IP that'l take my intrest though..without backwards compatibilty im probably not going to be buying xbox one for quite awhile anyway.

I doubt is as bad as it sounds, it will sell well because of it's marketing angle at families. It's just abit pointless as the PC does everything better and Kinect is useless, a touch screen on the controller Wii U style is much better far more control and much more practical.

Just found this news out, enjoy!!
From this I gather that if someone buys a game, then up to 10 friends (as long as they have been on the persons friends list for at least 30 days) can play the game at the same time, however these 10 people will need to be on your 'select' list to do this. Does anyone else see an exploit here!! 1 game between 11 people! If Trion to a Defiance 2, ( laughable I know) then as a clan of say 95 members, we would only need 9 copies of the game instead of the 95 copies of what we have now. Its good thinking from microsoft for those with families with more than 1 console in the house. (I have 3 360 consoles in my house). But I think they may have inadvertantly delivered a big loss to retailers and developers.
This is a cop out on Microsofts part, they have put they technology and the means in place for developers to implement this, and I'm betting there is alot more to this than they are letting on. I can't see MS not having some way of coercing developers into using this in some way. Think about it, If developers dont use this is some way they miss out on revenue, thus they have less funds for the next game, and so on and so on. Eventually the developer closes, MS loses revenue from the developers and the whole industry starts to suffer. Ok thats an extreme scenario, but you get the gist of it.
Connecting once every 24 hrs not so bad, but is it really to do what they say?? or is it to collectbinfo from the xbox that has been taken through interaction and via the 'always on kinect'.
You can be sure of one thing, this is not the whole picture, there is no doubt alot of stuff they dont want us to know about yhe xboxTivo. It will come out eventually though. As soon as I see a way, official or not, of turning the kinect off I will be doing it and letting others know, I find the very idea of the kinect invasive and unwarranted.
Apologies for the length of the post.

I don't really mind the Kinect. People are getting all paranoid about it watching what they are doing. It's all a bit exaggerated if you ask me.

Im going to wait for some feedback on these, Im happy with my 360 atm, but... The one thing that is making me really want one is the effort they have put into "Xbox One" servers.
